The roll, also called maki, is a wrapped sushi, traditionally made with a coating of nori, that wraps a layer of rice, vegetables and fish.
It is then rolled with a special bamboo mat and cut in 9 pieces. There are rolls of different sizes and forms, it is a very versatile dish!!
